Help Transform Lives
Thank you for backing Pleasant Hill's involvement in the Rock Hill District's Volunteer in Missions journey to Santa Fe, Panama.
At a location 45 minutes up the mountain from the main compound, our team member, Elizabeth Smith, will be instrumental in building the walls of a church using concrete and rebar. In addition to her construction tasks, Elizabeth will also be part of the team offering VBS to the children, which will directly impact their lives.
We aim to raise $2500 to cover expenses such as the 8-hour plane trip, accommodations, bus transportation to the mountains, VBS supplies,
and the purchase of food in Panama for distribution to clinic attendees.
We eagerly anticipate Elizabeth Smith's return to hear firsthand how God is working through our collective efforts in Panama.

Salkehatchie Summer Service is a pioneering servant ministry at selected sites in South Carolina involving high school and college age youth, adult community leaders and persons of different cultures in upgrading housing, motivating community cooperative efforts by helping persons to help themselves, and providing all participants with opportunities for personal growth and service. Students in grades K-12 are invited! Each student will receive shoes, socks, backpacks and school supplies.

Learn about the Minds Matter program and this fresh approach that provides exercise, cognitive stimulation, a brain healthy lunch and music therapy in a supportive environment. This technique is delivered by professional dementia practitioners and is proven to support brain health. Our program offers a 4-hour respite for caregivers. Your loved-ones will have a sense of purpose and meet friends!
Program offered at Pleasant Hill UMC on Thursdays from 10:00am to 2:00pm
Every 4th Thursday there is a care-giver support group that meets in the church Library at 10:00am
Pleasant Hill is honored and humbled to house "Living Water Fellowship," - a group of Christian families who have the heart and burden to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the love of God.
The group is pastored by Rev. Tai K. Kam. Chinese services are held at 9:45 a.m. on Sundays. The group also offers a Friday night Chinese Bible study at 7:30 p.m. in the Pleasant Hill Family Life Center.
