This Sunday, November 30, we begin the season of Advent at 8:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. with the message “Living as Advent People: People of Hope,” grounded in Matthew 24:36 - 44.
Advent starts with an urgent call from Matthew’s Gospel to stay awake and alert, trusting that God is moving toward us even when the world feels uncertain. As we light the first candle of hope, we declare that God’s light is already breaking into the darkness. Join us as we step into this holy season with expectation, watchfulness, and renewed hope.
Each service will open with the Hanging of the Greens as we begin a progressive decorating of our worship space. More symbols of the season will be added each Sunday as we prepare both our church home and our hearts for the celebration of Christ’s coming and His coming again.
