People of Peace
December 7 Worship

This Sunday we continue our Advent series, Living as Advent People, with the message “People of Peace,” drawn from Matthew 3:1-12.

John the Baptist calls us to prepare our hearts for Christ by clearing away what keeps us restless and by stepping into a life shaped by compassion, humility, and courage.

Peace is not the absence of conflict. It is the presence of Christ restoring us from the inside out. Join us as we explore how Advent challenges us to make room for the peace God longs to plant within us.

Worship is offered at 8:45 a.m. in a modern, family-oriented style in the Family Life Center and at 11 a.m. in a traditional service in the Sanctuary.

All are welcome as we light the Candle of Peace and prepare the way for Christ.

Through dedicated WORSHIP to GOD Pleasant Hill seeks to
REACH out with the love of God and Good News of Jesus Christ,
GROW through worship and the study of God's Word to
SERVE God and our neighbors in all that we do.
